About Domaine Des Etangs

A 13th-century French chateau imbued with the artistic soul of nature A place to reconnect with balance through art, nature and ancient rural traditions, Auberge’s latest destination is a magnificent stone castle set in 2,500 wooded acres (1,000 hectares). Built over 700 years ago by the Knights of Chasteigner de la Roche-Posay, this fairytale castle is an idyllic refuge of serenity, dedicated to the art of living, past and present. Set amidst tranquil ponds that give it its name, the Domaine des Etangs and its picturesque farmhouses overlook rolling hills and verdant meadows where our most beautiful Limousin cows graze. The food served at the Domaine comes directly from its gardens. Art and nature form a balance symbolized by the emblem of this place, the dragonfly.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The facilities were in bad condition, and the staff seemed to not care at all. The food served was also not fresh. I regret choosing this place for my stay.

A very unpleasant stay. The noise levels were unbearable, and the air conditioning did not work. The bed was uncomfortable, and the customer service was poor. Overall, a horrible experience.

A fairly average experience. The room was small, and the facilities were a bit outdated. The staff was friendly but not very attentive. While it wasn't the worst place I've stayed, I think there are better options for the price in this area.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The room was not as clean as expected, and the staff seemed indifferent to our needs. It felt like the property was poorly maintained. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. Definitely not worth the price, as it failed to meet even basic standards. It was a frustrating experience from start to finish.

The worst hotel experience I've had in years. The room was dusty, the bed was uncomfortable, and the noise levels were unbearable. For the price I paid, I expected a lot more. There are better options in the area, and I suggest you look elsewhere.
