For centuries, the indigenous have recognized the earth’s healing powers. There have always been those spots in the world that just seem to have a special kind of Power, an abundance of energy and positivity. For a young Indian Princess, her fleeting health was restored in a place just like this. As the legend goes, her Father, a Noble Chief, was told in a dream to travel to the land of the rising sun, where whispering pines stand tall…. through which a river of sand steadily flows. It is here, he is told, that she will regain her health. And she did. The Indians call it sacred. Others serene. We call it Aiken.

Not a great experience. The hotel could use some serious renovation. The rooms were outdated, and the atmosphere was dull. The breakfast was quite basic, and the service was slow.

The worst hotel experience I've had in years. The room was dusty, the bed was uncomfortable, and the noise levels were unbearable. For the price I paid, I expected a lot more. There are better options in the area, and I suggest you look elsewhere.
