About Hôtel Golf Château de Chailly

The Château de Chailly-sur-Armançon, a historic monument in the heart of Burgundy, was built in 1180, destroyed and rebuilt several times until its current incarnation in the 16th century Renaissance period. Originally a fortress, it was ennobled and passed down from family to family. In 1989, the Château was bought by a Japanese businessman, Mr Yasuhiko Sata. He undertook extensive renovation work to turn the Château into a magnificent 4-star hotel with 45 rooms and suites, 8 flats, 7 large function and seminar rooms, a bistro and gourmet restaurant, 2 bars and a magnificent 18-hole golf course on the 75 hectares surrounding the estate, making this Resort the ideal place to explore Burgundy, for nature holidays or golfing breaks.

This hotel was pretty standard. It has all the basic amenities you might need, though there's nothing exceptional about it. The location is a plus, being close to local attractions, but the overall experience was just average.

An average hotel experience. The room was clean and the location was convenient. It wasn't anything special, but it served its purpose for a short stay. If you're looking for a place to rest without any frills, this hotel could work for you. The service was decent, and the overall experience was satisfactory.
